I agree with you Slimboyfat.
I have the Third Reich book. He makes claims, but when I check the footnote or reference, his "source" sometimes is hearsay. Also, for me, his caustic, mean-spirited tone detracts from his message. ...just my opinion.

Penton's book is poorly referenced: Apocalypse Unsubstantiated!

here is an example where he is talking about reports of drinking in bethel:drinking, then, almost became part of the cult of machismo into which the new workers were quickly inducted.

i thought i read somewhere about it but can't seem to find it.
for example: did speaking in tongues stop with the death of the apostles as per the wtbts ?

While I disagree with this conclusion, others have floated the opinion that Paul was disapproving of women speaking in tongues in the congregations. It is not a novel concept.

Very interesting. However, Strong's Concordance says it is a phrase "they shall say" and lists 21 other places where that same precise phrase is used in the Bible. While I agree with your thought process, I don't think this can be used to support your conclusion.
Perhaps someone with more knowledge about Greek will enlighten us.

JWs can not understand womens' proper place because they start from an incorrect premise. They feel that Eve was less than Adam, "a complement," and then they search the rest of the Bible to support this premise. They base their whole argument on Genesis and Eve's being called a "helpmeet" for Adam. They incorrectly apply rank and position to this word. The Hebrew word is "Ezer" and this precise word is used several times elsewhere in the Bible. ALL of these times, it applies to Jehovah being OUR "helpmeet." Ps. 20:2, Ps. 33:20, Ps. 89:19, Ps. 115: 9-11, Ps. 121. 1,2; Ps. 124:8, Ps. 146:5.
Using the WTBTS's argument, that would make Jehovah less than us because he is our "helpmeet." Eve was neither more than, nor less than. Just like a partner in a corporation, she had a different job, but equal rank.
